For this weekend’s return of EVITA to the West End stage at The London Palladium, Autograph supplied the full sound package – along with comms, cue lights and CCTV.

Sound design was by 2024 Olivier Award-winning sound designer Adam Fisher (Sunset Boulevard, Oliver!, My Fair Lady) – who was ably assisted by Autograph’s own Kelsh Buckman-Drage, as associate designer.

This production of EVITA, the legendary musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, is directed by Jamie Lloyd, produced by Michael Harrison for Lloyd Webber Harrison Musicals and The Jamie Lloyd Company. It opened on Saturday night and is the show’s first appearance in the West End since 2017.

It stars Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler (Disney’s Snow White, West Side Story) as Eva Perón and James Olivas as Juan Perón.

Autograph also provided the sound set-up for a special pre-recorded rendition of ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’, which Zegler performed from the Palladium’s outside balcony ahead of the show’s opening.

EVITA runs at The London Palladium for 12 weeks until 6 September.
