When the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre upgraded its auditorium sound system to meet the very latest technological capabilities, including a d&b Soundscape system, they called upon the trusted team of sound specialists at Autograph to deliver the installation – in a tight timescale and to the very highest standard . . .

Working with d&b audiotechnik, the RSC selected a Soundscape object-based spatial audio system, with Autograph appointed to take good care of the installation and upgrade the theatre’s wider audio infrastructure.

Completed in just six days alongside the fit-up of The BFG, the installation includes more than 180 loudspeakers, three DS100 processors, 200 amplifier channels and a new Dante network, integrated with the existing DiGiCo system.

The result provides a significantly more flexible and technologically advanced audio platform for the RSC’s future productions.
