Autograph delivers sound expertise for openings in London and Australia

The tail-end of last week saw the opening of theatre shows on both sides of the planet with first-class sound services from the experts at Autograph.

A manga phenomenon – Death Note: The Musical

First up, in London on Thursday, was Death Note: The Musical at The Barbican, with a full sound package supplied by Autograph’s hire department for a sound design by Peter Hylenski. Based on the original manga phenomenon by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata – which has sold over 30 million copies worldwide – this original production from HoriPro runs at the Barbican for 50 performances up until 12 September.

Spectacular illusions with Now You See Me Live

Next up, on Friday 31 July, Autograph’s hire department has provided a sound system for a spectacular stage illusion show from the makers of The Illusionists – Now You See Me Live, which runs at the iconic London Coliseum until 6 September.

Fiddler on the Roof begins Australian run

Finally, wrapping  up a notable week for the London-based stage sound experts, the recent record-breaking West End revival of Fiddler on the Roof, produced by Regents Park Open Air Theatre, kicks off its tour of Australia at the Theatre Royal Sydney. After Sydney, this widely acclaimed production – with Olivier Award-winning sound design by Autograph’s Nick Lidster – will continue its touring nationally to Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
