Elektra comes to the West End stage with sound from Autograph

Opening tonight at The Duke of York’s Theatre in London’s West End is Elektra. This new recreation of an ancient Greek story features a sound design by brothers Ben and Max Ringham, with a sound package provided by Autograph.

Elektra is based on the original ‘Electra’ – written by Sophocles in the 5^th century BC (old enough to have been considered a classic masterpiece by Cicero). However, its timeless central themes of grief and revenge remain as powerful as ever – and of course the sound system is right up to date too.

Directed by Daniel Fish (whose production of Oklahoma! won both Tony and Olivier Awards), and based on a translation by award-winning poet and essayist Anne Carson, this remarkable production stars Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson and runs until 12 April.
