Autograph delivers sound for Historalia’s UK first: Anne Boleyn, The Musical

Share

Autograph has provided the full sound package for a spectacular summer entertainment production with a difference. Anne Boleyn, The Musical is a sumptuous theatrical retelling of the story of one of the most pivotal figures in British history – Anne Boleyn – the ill-fated second wife of King Henry VIII and the mother of Queen Elizabeth I.

Historalia's Rubens

Historalia’s previous productions have included Rubens the Musical, staged at the Castle of Westerlo in Belgium (photo: Historalia).

With sound design by the hugely talented brothers, Ben and Max Ringham, the production relies on a full live sound system – plus comms, CCTV, cue-lights, IT and power management – all supplied by our busy sound hire team at Autograph.

The show is produced by Historalia, a Belgian theatre company specialising in pop-up musicals at stunning country house settings. Historalia’s past works have included the stories of Rubens, Marie Antoinette and Joan of Arc.

This, the company’s first UK-based musical production, is staged at Anne’s childhood home, Hever Castle, in Kent. Directed by Roxana Silbert, it had its first preview on Saturday evening, and will run through until 30 August.
