Tony-winning Oh Mary! with Autograph for West End transfer

Autograph’s expert hire team has provided the full sound package for an outrageously funny theatrical highlight set to open in the West End this evening, with sound design by Daniel Kluger and Drew Levy.

Oh, Mary! is an award-winning, one-act, dark comedy focusing on the unhappy existence of Mary Todd Lincoln – wife of US President Abraham Lincoln – in the weeks leading up to her husband’s assassination in April 1865. In this reimagination, Mary is not so much concerned with the Civil War as with the idea of becoming a cabaret star . . .

A massive success when it premiered on Broadway, Oh, Mary! received five Tony Award nominations this year, with wins for Best Leading Actor in a Play (Cole Escola, who also wrote the play) and Best Direction of a Play (Sam Pinkleton).

Tonight, it opens at the Trafalgar Theatre, with Mason Alexander Park (seen recently on the West End stage in Jamie Lloyd’s The Tempest and Much Ado About Nothing) taking on the role of Mary.
