Clueless The Musical hits the West End with sound from Autograph

A new musical, Clueless, opened this weekend at Trafalgar Theatre in the West End, with sound design by Sound Quiet Time and a sound package provided by Autograph.

Based on the 1995 teen comedy film of the same name, Clueless is a modern take on Jane Austen’s classic novel Emma – with the story transposed from the village of Highbury to Beverly Hills High. Produced by Trafalgar Entertainment, it first appeared in February last year with a two-week run at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre, and now makes its West End debut.

It has an acclaimed creative team behind it: a book written by Amy Heckerling (writer and director of the original movie), score by singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, lyrics by the multi-award-winning Glenn Slater (Sister Act The Musical, Tangled), and directed by Rachel Kavanaugh (Chichester Festival Theatre, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre).
