Ballet Shoes: the classic tale returns with sound by Autograph

The National Theatre is staging Ballet Shoes, which starts tonight at the Olivier and runs through to February 2025, with a full sound package provided by Autograph, as well as sound design by one of our very own – the award-winning Ian Dickinson.

This new version – directed by Katy Rudd (The Ocean at the End of the Lane) – has been created by playwright Kendall Feaver (The Almighty Sometimes). Based on the original, much-loved, classic children’s novel by Noel Streatfeild, first published in 1936, it tells the story of three adopted sisters trying to pursue their dreams . . .
